About Rima
I'm a Portland native who discovered yoga at a young age through my parents. I began teaching yoga in 2003 with extensive training under senior teachers from the Krishnamacharya lineage. Krishnamacharya is foundational to modern yoga through figures like Pattabhi Jois, B.K.S. Iyengar, and T.K.V. Desikachar.

In addition to my role as a yoga instructor, I'm a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant working in home health at Adventist, and a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach.
While yoga is at the heart of what I do, I blend my passion for anatomy, neuroscience, philosophy, meditation, and functional movement into my teaching, offering a holistic approach to well-being.
