We love nature.
We run our hotel completely sustainable and supply all our resources from solar energy and purified rain water. Support us on our mission to protect nature and let´s produce and consume as little waste and resources as possible.

Part of our mission is to provide a harmonious experience with nature, so we operate in ways that will leave minimal impact on the environment. We run on 100% solar energy and 100% purified rainwater. While we still strive to provide the amenities you love, we ask all of our guests to help us conserve energy in small ways.

During your stay, we kindly request that you:
-
Turn off all lights and fan in room while not in use.
-
Charge electronic devices and use electronic accessories (hair dryer, curling iron, etc.) during daytime while solar power is strongest.
-
Dispose of toilet paper in the bins, not the toilets.
-
Bring a reusable water bottle or refill your disposable plastic water bottle (please refrain from buying multiple disposable water bottles.)
-
Be mindful of resource consumption (water and electricity use) and waste production (plastic bags, water bottles, etc.)

The Jungle.
Please keep in mind that our location is secluded and we are fully immersed in tropical jungle.
A few important notes regarding our jungle location:
-
There are bugs in the jungle. All rooms are fully enclosed and secure but common areas are outdoors and there are occasional mosquitos and other bugs, so we recommend you bring bug spray and/or itch cream in case of allergic reactions.
-
We are surrounded by jungle, so you may encounter small critters like frogs (often) or snakes (rare) in the evening. Additionally, you may hear nocturnal animals in the surrounding jungle at night, but they will stay away from lights and people so it is no cause for alarm.
-
Please do not eat or store food in your room to avoid attracting any unwelcome critters.

Reception
Upon arrival, we will ask for your full name, email address, and passport number. This is for our records as required by Panamanian law. (NOTE: Panamanian law also requires all tourists to carry their passport on them at all times. We recommend you make a photocopy of your photo page and the page with your stamp of entry into Panama.)

-
Our reception is not open 24/7; however, regardless of the time, there will always be a staff member available to assist you in any way you may need. During the day, our staff will be on-site working in the bar or kitchen and are happy to answer any questions you have. For after-hours assistance you may text (WhatsApp: +1 248 895 4264).
-
Upon your initial arrival we will show you to your rooms and give you a brief tour of the grounds, restaurant, bar, and pool areas.

About Bocas del Toro

Inspired by Bird Island.
We are so thankful for this unique view on Isla Pajaros (or also Bird Island) - a designated protected bird sanctuary.
